360church Moves to New Berkeley Location

When people discover that I am a pastor at 360church, they often ask me the same question: “What kind of church is that?”

I tell them that 360 is a “start-up church,” a description that usually provokes even more interest, and explain that our existence took place in a way very parallel to the start-up businesses that are so common in the Berkeley area.

One feature of most enterprises is the need to change locations to accommodate future growth. That is exactly what is happening to us. Having started in a dining room, and then in two conference rooms at the Hotel Durant, 360church is moving to a new facility.

May 29th will be our last Sunday morning gathering at the California Room of the Hotel Durant.

Starting Sunday, June 5th, we will be meeting in Suite 2100 of 2107 Dwight Way in Berkeley.

The property is near the corner of Dwight and Shattuck and gives us almost 5,000 square feet of space including a large area for gatherings, offices, meeting rooms, a children’s area, a kitchen, and even a small parking lot.

For the first time, we will have access to a facility on a 24/7 basis, rather than for just a few hours on Sunday morning.

Best of all, we will be right in the heart of downtown Berkeley, but still easy walking distance from the Cal campus. The BART station only 6 blocks away and the bus line running on Shattuck Avenue make the facility easily accessible for the whole region.

With our new location, we will be able to serve both the city and the campus in ways that we can’t even imagine now.

Grand Opening Weekend begins with a Berkeley Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, August 26th at 1PM and concludes with our Grand Opening Service on Sunday, August 28th at 11AM.

Please join us to celebrate this wonderful new facility on our Grand Opening Weekend.
