Not many of you should tweet, my fellow believers, because you know that we who tweet will be judged more strictly.
We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they tweet is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.
When we turn the steering wheel of a car, we can turn the whole vehicle in the new direction. Or take airplanes as an example. Although they are so large and are powered by strong engines, they are steered by very small flaps on their wings.
In the exact same way, the tweet is just a small 140-character part of your day, but it makes great boasts.
Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark.
The tweet also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of our day. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell. (Yep, it’s that big)
All kinds of animals, birds, reptiles and sea creatures are being tamed and have been tamed by mankind, but no human being can tame the tweet. It is a restless evil, full of deadly poison.
With our tweets we praise our Lord and Father, and with them we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same tweets come praise and cursing.
My brothers and sisters, this should not be.
Can both hot water and cold water flow from the same faucet? My brothers and sisters, can an apple tree produce oranges, or an orange tree make apples?
Neither can we tweet both good things and evil things in the same keystroke.
